I joined the DAFK group and visited Lebanon in October 1995. You see a lot of ancient pictures and also some pictures of a land that also has had a bad time. On the other hand Lebanon is a very modern country and has a new grown heart mith modern business centers, shopping malls and so on. It was one of my best holidays and I will never forget the friendly people. There wasn't much tourism that time. If you like history, take a look at the old temples at BAALBECK and others. They were build before the pyramids in Egypt. Stone block heavy as a mountain have been moved many kilometers to Baalbeck. As with the pyramids noone really knows what technologie was used therefore. Even today it is nearly impossible to move them. Well, ancient people had more time,hi. Thanks RAL and RAK for the support and thanks to everyone who made this trip unforgettable for me.
