TA4/DL2OBO Turkey Alanya Iberostar Alantur

We spent our holidays in this wonderful Hotel Iberostar CLub Alantur in Alanya.
Whatever you need to know is: it is the real place to spend a very excellent holiday.
I must admit, that the buildings are a bit older, but everything is hyper-clean and have
a look in theese beautiful botanic garden. The food is the best I ever had in TA and the drinks, the service, the animation (who needs?) is really great.
If you want to be QRV ask for room #736. It is a suite which will cost a little extra, but if you
want a little more space and/or travel with children, you will like this suite.
From here it is not far to the staff-kitchen building. YOu can set up your beam and or vertical her.
Also you can use the flood-light mast at the eastern boarder of the hotel.
For contest you can ask to rent the land next to the hotel and set up a little antenna farm.
But please always ask the management before you do anything.!!!!
Again: this hotel is just 4 stars but you are treated like 5 star guest !

The last two nights I operated from the beach ! just 10m from the water! I used that flood light mast and put a fishing rod on it and came so to a 21m long wire vertical with elevated radials right on the beach !!! Just 100 watts from a IC706 which maybe was not able to handle the "big noise" from that large antenna. I saw the sun set after dinnerin the east, operated all night long and have seen sunrise in the morning and had breakfast with pancakes and muffins right on the beach after a night full with DX. That's real life I think.
Please use good RX ! Noise is terrible in TA ! try K9AYs for lowband !
